I'm running on 30 minutes of sleep right now. I made chocolate oatmeal for the caffeine. I might have to take a mocha frapp to my internship this afternoon, though I don't think I'll need it. All of my appointments are back-to-back tonight, so the constant movement should help keep my mind focused and awake.

Though I'm disappointed that I was such a slacker (again), I'm so relieved that I'm done with my take home. After 2pm tomorrow, my spring break will begin!

I did a lot of arts and crafts stuff in the last few weeks and accumulated a few pics for viewing; so, they will hopefully go up by Friday. I'm also in the mood to change my layout, though I'm not exactly sure what I want to do. I think there will be green or violet in it somewhere. =P

It's snowing outside. Roads were a bit slippery, but not as bad as a couple of weeks ago. I think I might go to Panera for soup in a bread bowl. It's definitely that kind of day.

This post is in dedication to those who were interested in my group activity of making stress balls last night. Very simple, though can get messy.

Both my mommy and Marco loved the gifties The Hubby and I gave to them! Yay!

For Marco, I made swedish meatballs almost completely from scratch, and I gave him the beanie hat that I posted about a while ago. He was extremely happy. =) My mom asked him about how he was going to put the hat on his head, since he currently has a 6-inch-tall faux hawk going on. He said the hat will help when he shaves his head (soon). It'll keep his head warm. =D So, after his marveling over his gifts, I told Mommy about hers.

I hugged my mommy and told her that her gift from The Hubby and me would be that I would take her out to wherever she wanted to go. I said that I would pick her up, drive her to anywhere she wanted to go, like take her out shopping,  and take her to lunch. Before I said it, I wasn't sure if she would go for that idea because I had no tangible gift to present, such as a card explaining her gift. However, as I started to explain the gift, her eyes grew as big as saucers and a silly grin spread across her face. She looked like a little kid in a candy store. Immediately she said, "Oh, not this month." I told her it can be whenever--she just has to let me know ahead of time. She looked so happy, and I'm sure it was as much of a gift for my dad as for my mom (it's one less shopping trip on which he has to take her). =)

W00t! So happy they liked their gifts! Two down, about half a dozen more to go.

I notice I haven't posted much around the weekends, and have discovered 2 things: 1) I'm too tired to post (boo), and 2) I've actually had some non-work-related weekend stuff filling my weekends (yay!). I've been able to keep up with what's going on with others on my f-list, but I'm at a loss for words to comment most of the time. =?

I finished half of my school work today. I hope to finish the rest tonight, after dinner, Prison Break, and Heroes. =)

Oh, and at whistlebinky's request, here are a few pics of my latest crochet projects. The fingerless gloves are for Cris, the hat for Marco, and the scarf/earband set for Marco's girlfriend.

I've been sleeping restlessly for the last few days, complete with weird dreams of people I knew and people leaving me. I'm definitely anxious about something, of which I'll figure out eventually. =?

Today I had a really dumb moment: I had the car in reverse when I should've had it in drive. o.0 No one was hurt, thank goodness.

I've been really avoiding my paperwork for my internship. I really should finish it before tomorrow. Maybe I'll finish one tonight, and the rest tomorrow.

I bought new, soft yarn. I have a couple of projects in mind for them. I'm excited! I'd rather be working on these project ideas than my paperwork. *L*

I'm tired. I'm gonna watch Heroes now.

I should really do some paperwork.

Title of last night's SPN episode. Watching it now, while working on an art/craft project.

I finally finished my banner and two fall icons for my theme layer. I just have to get around to fixing the code for the layout. Maybe tonight.

The electrical and plumbing inspectors finally came to give the "thumbs up" on our new water heater. It took all of 5 minutes to inspect. We can finally put the closet door back in place, and not have the laundry detergent in the kitchen. =)

I'm thinking about baking something tonight, but I guess it depends on what other stuff I get done today.

It's hot in the living room today. It could also be because I have my comp in my lap, with the fan blowing all the hot air onto my leg. =P It's probably cooler outside.

I should go do something productive now, though I think I'll finish watching SPN to free up DVR space first.

Today we were able to just sit at home and enjoy a quiet, lazy Sunday. The Hubby and I spent most of the day catching up on DVR-recorded Scrubs episodes, napping, and eating cookies. Gotta love The Janitor and Dr. Cox. =)

Towards the evening, I was able to work on some arts and crafts projects that I've been neglecting. I spent part of my productivity in Photoshop on some icons and a new banner for my new layout. Hopefully I'll get it done by the end of the week. I made some headway for my other projects, but there's still much to do. There's a couple of ideas I have in mind, but the execution for one of them (the big project) is eluding me atm. *sigh* I might need to sleep on it again to get some fresh eyes in the morning. On the bright side, I can work on the smaller project tonight, and finish in probably an hour's time. =) The house is going to smell nice!

If only I could get myself to be as motivated for my class readings. *L*
