Halfway through! Yeah!

I'm going to print it out at school to proof the first half, and figure out where to put citations and stuff. If I get inspired, I can write down thoughts for the other sections I've yet to write. I'm so happy, it's ridiculous!

• 2 papers and 3 more classes to go.
• Sent out the evite for my bbq.
• Cadbury caramel eggs are only good at room temp. Not frozen. The creme eggs are the reverse. =P
• My computer fan doesn't seem to be working, so The Hubby plans to look at it this weekend.
  
• The weather's nice again. I'm loving it!
• My body seems to be broken this week. My head feels fuzzy, and my eyes are stinging from looking at my comp screen. I hope I'm not getting sick. =?

I think it's time for a nap. Then, my first paper.

I reserved a picnic area in the park for my birthday barbecue! Yayayayayayay! *dances around* Gotta tell The Hubby and Liza. I'm so excited! =D

On top of that, it's another gorgeous day, and the temp may go up into the 80s. Woo!

This is what my mom asks me when I told her I was going to buy some bubble tea for Cris and me. *ROFL* She continued to say it 2 more times before she paused long and hard, saying it correctly. Before we hung up, she chuckled, saying, "Enjoy the 'bubble butt'."

I'm having a good morning so far, and I know my day's only going to get better. I got my lazy butt out of bed and actually went to the gym to do some swim laps, then came home to have a healthy breakfast. Right now, I'm taking care of some laundry and straightening up before The Hubby comes home tonight. Yay! ♥

There's a wintry mix of precipitation outside. Big Boss Lady announced the cancellation of the kids' program for today, so our super said we could come in for regular business hours today. Woo! At 11:30am, Big Boss Lady told us that we're closing early. Yay! Even better, she told us that the kids' program will be cancelled tomorrow; therefore, no work for me! Wahoo! *dances around*

Today's been a good day so far. I got home a couple of hours ago, I didn't die from driving in the crazy weather, and HP4's on in the background. =)

A) I finished reading for my class, and will finish my critique in a few minutes.

B) After calculating rewards points and discounts from various sources, we'll be able to get the camera we want for less than the listed price before our trip home! Woo! I can't wait!

C) I have 2.75 packages ready to be sent. My goal: finish the other 0.25 tonight. =)

D) I got the application for the local chapter of the social worker's honors society (Phi Alpha). I'm very optimistic about my application.

E) I am in such a good mood today, despite the cold. =)

F) I get to start Christmas shopping/gifty making early this year because I won't be in the country by mid-December! Woo!

G) It's one of my favorite sorority sister's birthday today! Happy birthday to my Jaymie!

H) A certain crafty lady's birthday is coming up on Friday. ;-)

I) I'm almost done working on my new layout. Better late than never. *L*

I woke up this morning with fresh eyes. I have a fantastic idea for the banner I wanted to create for that quote! All I need to do is go outside and get the perfect inspiration of a picture, maybe tomorrow. It's yucky out today. The icon's looking kind of cool, but I'm not sure if I'll use it yet.

In other news, I'm tempted to bake another batch of cookies, but I probably don't have time. I have to run a few errands before I go to the gym and then I meet Liza later. I'm feeling really good today. I think it's going to be the start of a good weekend. =)

Sunday--Went to Church with the hubby, had a long nap, and had dinner with the in-laws for MIL's birthday. It was a relaxing day.

Monday--Learned to do some stuff in the meds charts, and had a pretty good therapy session with the clients. Overall, day was good.

Tuesday--First class ended very early, I had no trouble printing my readings for homework, and we watched an interesting video in my second class. Very good evening.

Wednesday--Internship with the kids' program. Ran my very first Activity group by myself. It was a success! I was so happy. The hubby and I had Chinese food for dinner (Perfect Health Chicken--boiled, not fried). Yum! Good day, great evening!

Thursday--Went into my internship for a MANDATORY training. Stupid training took only 30 minutes, and it was stuff I already learned from my Psychopathology class. Grrr. On the plus side, I got some helpful guides. I met up with the hubby and had delicious sushi for lunch. Afterwards, I got lost 2 different times looking for the HR office to get my ID for work Saturday, and looking for the new location of my hair salon to get a haircut. Double Grrr. I got home safe, and had a quiet Thursday evening watching our shows with the hubby. A half/half kind of day.

Friday--Dreaded getting up because I've been getting up so damn early, and sleeping so late, every day this week. >=( I got up though, and went to JC, where my sis picked me up. We got my comfy armchair for reading at IKEA today! Woohoo! All the while, my sis kept saying "IKEA's the Devil." Well, that was the gist of it. We spent the day together, shopping for storage stuff, eating dim sum, getting bubble tea, and hanging out. We got so tired, she's taking a nap now. I would, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. I love spending time with her. I've missed her a lot. Now, if only my bro were free at the same time. That would be great! It's been an awesome day!

Presumption of Saturday--First day of my part-time job. I'm sure I'll have fun, and I won't feel as stressed as I do during the week.

Not that I'm on much since the holidays, but I will be temporarily unavailable for a little while. My laptop's CD-RW/DVD drive has been non-functional for the last couple of weeks, and will now have to be sent to Sony for some service. Until it's return, ADIEU!
