The Hubby and I watched Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay. The jokes were pretty funny, and some of the new characters were great. Though we both enjoyed the movie very much, we think the first one is better.

I'm so easily entertained. =P

ETA: For some reason, my Daemon keeps changing forms. I didn't know it could change. whistlebinky's still a mouse. *shrugs* Ah well. It's kinda cool. =)

Watched it on tv this morning. Decided I wanted to put the dvd on my Amazon wish list. Discovered that this year is the 20th anniversary of the movie release. No wonder it's been playing on cable so often lately. =P

A leetle procrastination goin' on, but the tv will be shut off now.

For some reason, I woke up this morning before the alarm went off...at 6... 0.o

I'm not complaining, since now I can putz around for a bit before work without feeling guilty. =P I even did my AM Yoga, without rushing. =D

Right now, The Hubby's toasting the waffles I made last night.

I think we'll be taking the kids to see The Bridge to Terabithia. It's the only kid-friendly movie I see listed on Moviefone, and it's our scheduled activity today at work. Hopefully, the kids will like it.

It's supposed to be kinda warm today and partly sunny. I'm enjoying the weather change very much. Yesterday, I was outside for a bit without a coat. =)

...called Running With Scissors. I saw the tv ad for it yesterday, and then today on the CW11. It comes out in select theaters on October 20th. Is it wrong that I thought of

Went out with Liza Friday night to have dinner and window shop. Green bean fries at TGI Fridays with wasabi ranch dipping sauce. Mmmm.
Went apple picking with the kids for work on Saturday. I got some gala and winesap apples.
After work, went to NYC to celebrate a couple of friends' birthdays. We hit Chinatown for dinner, then the Billiards Bar, then a club called Vesta. The bar was nice. Some people played snooker in the back, while the rest of us lounged. Vesta sort of sucked. The music wasn't that great. =?
Celebrated The Hubby's birthday by watching The Last Kiss and then having a Penang/Popeye's/Filipino dinner at the in-laws with my family too. He was very happy to get the Firefly  series, and was okay with the HD dvd of Serenity. He said he wants to keep it for when we get an HD dvd player. We did some things when we got home, then crashed to sleep.
Went to work yesterday. Uneventful.

That's all for now. My tea's getting cold. Allergies kicking in. Need to jet to work with The Hubby now.

We just returned from seeing The Last Kiss with Zach Braff for The Hubby's birthday. What a movie! I liked it, despite it being depressing. It was an interesting parallel to The Hubby's life because of the characters' age group (he just turned 29 today, and all the characters were turning 30). It's something I'd like to get once it comes out on dvd. If you liked Garden State, then you might like this movie too. /movie plug

So, that part of the movie date was good. What happened afterwards was <insert expletive here>.


I thought these two women were <insert another expletive here>. I was so pissed of how they got into his face like that. They talked during the movie. Not us. They were just pissed that The Hubby called them out on it.

We continued to talk about it on the way to Quiznos. He said he anticipated them getting defensive like that, but he also felt like it was something that "they shouldn't get away with". We were both feeling kind of pissed off by the time we got to Quiznos, but there was nothing we could do. We weren't sorry we sat in front of them. We were just sorry it went down like that. After venting and ordering, lo and behold! Green and Orange ladies show up in Quiznos. What kind of weird coincidence was that?? The Hubby and I went over, and apologized for how it went down. They were civil. Green lady was able to apologize back for getting so defensive. Orange lady didn't say it, but we like to believe that she looked apologetic as well. So weird.

Once we got home, The Hubby vented to his friends via text. I vented here. So there you have it. I'll update about the rest of my weekend later, as well as catching up with my f-list. I hope you're all having a good one.

RSN: I noticed at Quiznos that the ladies were wearing the same colors The Hubby and I were wearing (him green, me orange). Weirdness!

I seem to have very lucid dreams when I'm very tired. Last night's was particularly vivid...and weird.

Most of it was a jumble of different things I was thinking about throughout the day yesterday; however, one storyline in particular stuck in my mind when I woke up. I was with a bunch of monkeyboxers/lj-ers in a castle, trying to uncover some conspiracy against us. While pupdog311 and ktkatrina attempted to keep us hidden from our unknown enemies, blackbirdshaq, ejtheviking, and I tried to solve a snake-shaped puzzle. I think that solving it was supposed to keep the city from blowing up. =? Every now and again, pup would peek out and shoot at our supposed enemies. I think a couple of them were coworkers. o.0 Katrina rushed to find us an alternate exit, finding one through an underground tunnel. One more piece to the snake puzzle was needed. Trae had it. I felt really anxious. She was about to place it in when...

...I woke up. =?

I'm not sure what it all meant, but I have some theories:

• I had a lot of anxiety about meeting my first client for individual therapy today. However, it went okay, so I'm relieved.
  
• I was talking to some of these people in the last couple of weeks online. =)
  
• I've been watching too much tv drama late at night. ^.^

This has been the first full week of school/work/internship, so a lot's been going on. Alternating early morning with late evening schedules is a killer, but I like what I'm doing, so it's all good.

I've been a much better mood than in past weeks, so I've been somewhat hyper. This is good for my productivity. I've been hitting the gym a few days out of the week. I've also been trying to keep on top of my readings already (it helps that my prof is giving assignments based on the readings). A funny side effect of being in my uber-happy, playful mood is that I like to push The Hubby down on the bed like The Big Mean Kid on the playground. Yeah. I did it today. >=) He looked at me funny.  I think he was wondering if I was on crack. *L*

Tomorrow is the gym and work. And maybe a movie date with The Hubby, if the show time isn't too late. We want to see either The Black Dahlia or The Last Kiss.

Okay. Off to bed. I've said, "We'll go to bed soon" long enough.
